TV2 Østjylland is one of eight local TV stations in Denmark. Since 1986 they have been broadcasting local news stories and weather reports. They came to us with a vision and a desire to move their organization away from only broadcasting in the form of flow TV and via traditional media platforms. To instead publish their content through new channels like Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram. Simply put, they asked for a more elegant, light and contemporary visual identity to reflect that they are now a modern 360˚ media organization - in all aspects.
So for us it was all about the circle: “ ˚ ”. It tells the story of the 360˚ move and the geographical boundaries of Østjylland (longtitudes/latitudes). Furthermore, it visualizes “the viewer” looking into a camera lens. The circle is dynamic, powerful and you can even type it on your keyboard using a shortcut.
The project was completed as a collaborative effort with the finest people of M2Film and the music is brought to you by Troels Knud Damgaard.
